Wired News: Smartcard Key to Flier Fast Lane
The TSA has been working on a plan for issuing a smart card for frequent flyers. It ill hold ten finger prints on it and the card holder goes through a separate line and gets their finger print compared to that on the card.
This is meant to help get people on board quicker as many people complain about wait times through security at the boarding area.
I myself have already come up with a solution that is fool proof when executed properly. I arrive at the airport early, go through security in less than 10 minutes, and then after I recover from getting tackled for that chain and lighter in my pocket I forgot to suspiciously ditch in front of the security folk, I head over to the bar, have two pints of Guinness, and watch the game until the plane pulls up to the terminal. It also helps for the pressure during take off as well. Read the article for a full description of the proposed procedure.
