Source: MSN, Yahoo Turn Over Search Terms to Feds

Deffinatley an interesting turn of events here. In a twist, MSN and Yahoo admit to handing over their search data over to the government. I do not like this at all. It sets a precedent I think, that is to the detriment of our freedoms. According to one of the spokesheep they "didn't hand over any personally identifiable information. Although the intention is well, to enact a law that was struck down on porn filtering so children wouldn't see it, I do not think this is the right way to go about it. In fact, if there wasn't something fundamentally wrong with the law, it would NOT have been struck down in the first place. It will be interesting to see how things develop.
