Press Releases

AMD Has released the latest and greatest of the s939 platform. The AMD Athlon 64 FX Dual-Core processor brings a new age to the FX line of CPU's. Up until now they have only been single core. Also, with this chip users no longer have to sacrifice performance in single threaded apps. This beast runs two cores at 2.6GHZ each, and 2 MB cache (1 MB per core). Of course, for this kind of performance, you have to pay upwards of 1k, and that is just out of the reach of the common consumer. Although AMD's price/value ratio has been pretty good as of late, it seems that with there top of the line products Intel and AMD have found a common ground.
