UNIX Migration pains

You know, it has actually been a couple months since we switched from the old Unixware box, to the new Openserver box. Everything is going ok but the ONE thing that I miss is having the ability to navigate the server right through network neighborhood. It made it very easy to retrieve files to import into applications or to send as email attachments. We had a software package called VisionFS on the old machine that we havn't installed on the new box for whatever reason. VisionFS does the same thing as samba in Linux for those that do not know. Unfotunatley I do not make the final call as to what we do with our main server here. That is the Directors job. I think I will throw in the recommendation, for Vision, or Samba to be implemented again. Believe it or not, it saves time!
