Blog Is Back.

As you can see I am back now and with a different focus. I had been posting about technology but as it was hard for me to come up with money to review items I quickly grew bored with the idea and just became consumed with work.
I am in the middle of a transition actually. I career change so to speak. I love computers don't get me wrong, but the other thing I think about all the time is money. Its what happens when you are the product of a large family on a small budget. You learn quickly that it doesn't grow on trees. Now I want to take that knowlege and try to help people manage their own, everyone from the lower-middle to the high ups.
Some people wouldn't understand spending the time and money with the lower classes when it comes to being a financial advisor and I say thats because those people are thinking of it as selling. I am getting into this to help people. If I can't sell them on a plan thats just fine. If I can help people that thought they couldn't send their kids to college or retire, thats even better. That is the type of thing I want to do.
You see, I don't make a good salesman, I never really was. What I am good at though is listening to people empathetically and trying to really help them with their problems. If I can do that in my own practice then I really think I will be content with myself and what I am doing finally. I am eagerly waiting to finish the whole starting process to get into this business.
I look foward to making a difference in some of your lives.

Lack of updates

I apologize for the lack of updates to the site lately. I have been fairly busy with life and with no other contributors it makes things a little rough on me from time to time. The forums are still open so if any of you would like to ask eachother questions about anything post it there and hopefully we can get you an answer.

CNN.com - Bush: U.S. doesn't eavesdrop on phone calls of ordinary Americans - May 16, 2006

"WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Bush insisted Tuesday that the United States does not listen in on domestic telephone conversations among ordinary Americans.

The president did not respond directly, however, when asked whether it was a violation of privacy for the National Security Agency to seek phone records of millions of people from telephone companies.

The NSA has been collecting records of calls made in the U.S. by ordinary Americans as part of its anti-terrorism efforts, according to USA Today. The newspaper story followed reports that the NSA has been conducting eavesdropping on the electronic communications of suspected al Qaeda members and their contacts in the U.S. without warrants."

New race for the Alliance

"WORLD OF WARCRAFT, the most popular MMORPG and one of best-selling games in the world, will be getting a mission pack in the next couple of months.

Under the name, The Burning Crusade, Blizzard has presented excerpts from their unfinished code which will hopefully, one day become a great add-on that will give just that another kick of WoW-drug to over six million players and beyond."

Bush in 'ceaseless push for power' - Financial Times - MSNBC.com

"President George W. Bush had shown disdain and indifference for the US constitution by adopting an 'astonishingly broad' view of presidential powers, a leading libertarian think-tank said on Monday.

The critique from the Cato Institute reflects growing criticism by conservatives about administration policy in areas such as the 'war on terror' and undermining congressional power."

There is nothing divine about a bomb test

The first I heard of Divine Strake was last month. I was standing a few feet from the Nevada Nuclear Test Site where the experiment will happen. Corbin Harney, a Western Shoshone elder, winkingly gave me permission to enter the U.S. government-run, restricted-access site as his guest, since, if you believe the treaty the government signed, his people still own the land. I declined his invitation - I didn't have time to go to jail. Still, he and I stood together, holding hands, our heads bowed in prayer, or in respect for the prayers of others, as a religious service was held in the nuclear dust."
